OUR FACILITIES

Advanced Courses

Our courses use dedicated facilities at the Wellcome Genome Campus. We have a fully-equipped training laboratory as well as dedicated IT teaching facilities for data analysis and bioinformatics training.

We also collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to provide participants with access to the very latest specialist equipment and reagents for each laboratory course.

Courses focus on hands-on, practical training as part of an intensive and interactive residential format. The number of participants on each course is kept low (typically 16-18 for laboratory courses and 20-30 for computational courses) to ensure that participants fully benefit from close supervision and interaction with the instructors (and each other).

Scientific Conferences

Our conferences are hosted by the Wellcome Genome Campus Conference Centre, which has recently undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment. The Conference Centre has a range of purpose-bulit facilities in the grounds of Hinxton Hall at the north end of the Campus. With meeting spaces for small workshop/discussion groups right up to conferences for 300 delegates in the main Crick Auditorium, the Conference Centre is a key part of the Campus' commitment to sharing world-class science.
