Since 1988, we’ve been training scientists from all over the world in the latest biomedical techniques and data-analysis tools.

This year we have been celebrating our thirtieth anniversary by awarding 30 free places on our 2018 Wellcome Genome Campus events and going through our archives to find gems from the last 30 years!

NEW online course: Bacterial Genomes: Accessing and Analysing Microbial Genome Data

17 September – 7 October: On this free, 3-week online course, you will discover the basic principles of microbial bioinformatics analysis, and comparative genomics. Using Artemis, a free genome browser, you will find out how to investigate whole bacterial genomes, and through the analysis of bacterial genes and proteins, you will explore the genomic features of pathogens.

NEW conference: Plant Genomes in a Changing Environment

24-26 October 2018: We are delighted to announce the first conference on Plant Genomes in a Changing Environment. This meeting will bring together plant scientists working on the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana, on populations in their natural environment as well as crop species.
